R3 Releases Account Management for GovCon on SharePoint 2013

Business development and capture professionals in Government Contractor (GovCon) organizations need to work with government account and contact information.  Ideally, people would always have this information at their fingertips and would be able to get a holistic view of activity with accounts or contacts.  Yet, many smaller organizations don’t have any formal system to meet this need.  And, larger organizations that do use a CRM system, have it siloed and separated from the day-to-day work of GovCon users across the organization.

R3 Business Solutions has released Account Management for GovCon to provide a simple, better way to address this gap in GovCon. This release provides an add-on to a SharePoint 2013 environment.  It allows you to manage the core information for accounts and contacts.  It allows you to log and see activity.  It allows you to relate your contact activity to account, to contacts, to opportunities and proposals, to types of capture activity.  And, it allows you to access and work with this information from anywhere across a SharePoint environment.

R3 Account Management for GovCon includes the core features that you would expect for Account and Contact management, including:

  • Management of Customer Account and Contact information
  • Ability to log Contact Activity
  • Ability to search and filter for accounts and contacts
  • Ability to export to Excel, Word, PDF, CSV and print information

It goes further to address the specific situation of GovCon organizations, and, in particular those leveraging Microsoft SharePoint for work on task orders, opportunities, proposals, and, programs.  Some of these features include:

  • Cross-referencing of Contact Activity – ability to log activity that cross-references accounts and contacts, individual opportunities and proposals, pre-defined capture activity types, and programs.
  • Managing Account and Opportunity Influence – you can rank the influence that a contact has on the overall account and on multiple individual opportunities
  • Configurable Reporting – reports on the core data, the activity and the influence of contacts
  • Use it from anywhere – you do not have to go to Account Management to use it.  Key features can be embedded as web parts into SharePoint sites across your environment.  People can use it from within a Proposal Site or in an Opportunity Management center or when working on a program.  At all times, this valuable resource can be right at the users fingertips.
  • Pre-Integration with Other GovCon Solutions – this solution is pre-integrated to work with other R3 supported GovCon solutions from third parties including the CorasWorks IDIQ Task Order Management system and Lohfeld WinCenter for Capture and Proposal Management.
  • Configurable with Wizards – the solution is easily configured to meet evolving needs using the onboard configuration wizards that are standard across all R3 solutions for GovCon.
